Initial Consultation
We offer free consultations for many cases. For example, we always provide free consultations for family law, criminal law, and personal injury matters. Consultations usually last anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour. We will do our best to give you the most relevant information during the consultation so that you have a better understanding of what to expect moving forward.
Our Fees
We pride ourselves on being one of the most affordable law firms in St. Clair and the surrounding areas. We have avoided further expansion of the firm so that we can to provide quality representation at prices that people can afford.
We have different pricing structures for various types of cases. For family law matters, we charge a flat hourly rate for services, with the option of a fee for uncontested divorces. Criminal law cases may be charged at a flat rate or hourly, depending on the complexity of the issue.
For SSI, SSDI, and personal injury cases, we often take cases on a contingency fee basis, which means that if we don't win you money, you pay us nothing. The firm only receives a fee if we bring your case to a successful conclusion.
Uncontested Divorce
For uncontested divorces, divorces in which the parties have come to a settlement on their own and just want somebody to take care of the court/legal part of it, we offer a flat fee. The only time that we would require more than the price listed below is if the divorce becomes contentious and the parties can no longer agree on the terms of their divorce. This price also includes all filing fees (the difference in price below for a divorce with minor children reflects the higher filing fee charged by the courts when a divorce involves minor children).
